El Instituto Nebrija de Artes y Humanidades tuvo el honor de recibir a Alexia Eliadou, directora de la prestigiosa Aigaia School of Art & Design de Chipre, en una visita que fortalece los lazos culturales y académicos entre ambas instituciones. Una colaboración internacional en arte y lengua: un encuentro posible gracias a la intermediación Ioanna Tegou, directora de la Delegación Nebrija-Grecia/Chipre, que ha sido clave en la construcción de redes internacionales para nuestra comunidad universitaria.
Un recorrido enriquecedor por la creatividad y el arte
La visita de Alexia estuvo acompañada de un programa que le permitió conocer de cerca el espíritu innovador y creativo que define al Grupo Educativo Nebrija. Uno de los momentos más significativos fue su asistencia a los Premios CREA, organizados por la Facultad de Comunicación y Artes. En esta ceremonia, los alumnos de los grados de Bellas Artes, Artes Escénicas, Diseño Digital y Multimedia, y Diseño de Moda tuvieron el privilegio de premiar el talento de figuras destacadas en sus respectivos sectores. Este evento, que celebra la excelencia y el impacto creativo, mostró a Alexia Eliadou la relevancia que Nebrija concede al reconocimiento de las contribuciones artísticas y profesionales que inspiran a las nuevas generaciones.
El segundo día de su visita, Alexia recorrió algunas de las principales galerías de arte de Madrid, descubriendo la vibrante escena artística de la ciudad. Este entorno cultural, que forma parte esencial de la experiencia educativa de los estudiantes del Instituto Nebrija de Artes y Humanidades, permite que los alumnos amplíen su formación más allá del aula y se conecten directamente con el mundo profesional del arte.
Fortaleciendo la colaboración internacional
Además de participar en estas actividades, Alexia mantuvo reuniones con representantes del Instituto Nebrija de Artes y Humanidades, Pablo Álvarez de Toledo, y del Instituto Nebrija del Español, donde se abordaron posibles iniciativas de colaboración entre nuestras instituciones.
Durante este intercambio, se discutieron posibles vías de colaboración, como la organización de cursos conjuntos, programas de intercambio para estudiantes y profesores y proyectos artísticos innovadores que beneficien a ambas instituciones.
La Aigaia School of Art & Design, conocida por su enfoque innovador en las artes visuales y el diseño, comparte con Nebrija una visión educativa basada en la excelencia académica y la sensibilidad artística. Este primer encuentro subraya la voluntad de ambas instituciones por construir una relación fructífera que fomente la creatividad y el aprendizaje intercultural.

Visit of Aigaia School of Art & Design: International Collaboration in Art, Design, and the Spanish Language
The Nebrija Institute of Arts and Humanities had the honor of welcoming Alexia Eliadou, director of the prestigious Aigaia School of Art & Design in Cyprus, for a visit that strengthens cultural and academic ties between the two institutions. This meeting was made possible thanks to the mediation of Ioanna Tegou, director of the Nebrija-Greece/Cyprus Delegation, whose efforts have been key to building international networks for our university community.

Alexia’s visit included a program designed to showcase the innovative and creative spirit that defines the Nebrija Educational Group.
One of the highlights was her attendance at the CREA Awards, organized by the Faculty of Communication and Arts. During this ceremony, students from the Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Digital and Multimedia Design, and Fashion Design programs had the privilege of honoring the talent of renowned figures in their respective fields. This event, which celebrates excellence and creative impact, demonstrated to Alexia Eliadou the importance Nebrija places on recognizing artistic and professional contributions that inspire new generations.
On the second day of her visit, Alexia explored some of Madrid’s leading art galleries, discovering the city’s vibrant art scene. This cultural environment, an essential part of the educational experience for students at the Nebrija Institute of Arts and Humanities, enables learners to extend their education beyond the classroom and engage directly with the professional world of art and culture.
Strengthening International Collaboration
In addition to these activities, Alexia held meetings with representatives of the Nebrija Institute of Arts and Humanities, Pablo Álvarez de Toledo, and the Nebrija Institute of Spanish to discuss potential collaborative initiatives. During these discussions, various avenues of cooperation were explored, including the organization of joint courses, exchange programs for students and professors, and innovative artistic projects that benefit both institutions.
